The Austrian Beef Cattle Breeders Association was founded in 1995.
Our primary tasks are:
  • Representation of beef cattle breeders at a national and international level
  • Breeding programs of following breeds: Angus, Aubrac, Blonde d’Aquitaine, Charolais, Dexter, Fleckvieh-Simmental, Galloway, Highland Cattle, Limousin, Piedmontese, Salers, Wagyu and Dwarf Zebu
  • Coordination among the regional breeding organizations
  • Organization of the National beef cattle show

10 regional breeding organizations are members of Fleischrinder Austria. Those organizations are responsible for the support of the breeders (e.g. evaluation of bulls and cows, herd-book keeping).
