The Austrian Beef Cattle Breeders Association was founded in 1995.
Our primary tasks are:
  • Representation of beef cattle breeders at a national and international level
  • Breeding programs of following breeds: Angus, Aubrac, Blonde d’Aquitaine, Charolais, Dexter, Fleckvieh-Simmental, Galloway, Highland Cattle, Limousin, Piedmontese, Salers, Wagyu and Dwarf Zebu
  • Coordination among the regional breeding organizations
  • Organization of the National beef cattle show

8 regional breeding organizations are members of Fleischrinder Austria. Those organizations are responsible for the support of the breeders (e.g. evaluation of bulls and cows, herd-book keeping).
